This wood dish brush is a perfect plastic-free alternative for your kitchen. Great for brushing, cleaning dishes, pots, and sinks.
The head is replaceable so you can save the handle and reduce your waste when the brush wears out.
Each purchase of this brush funds the removal of 10 pieces of plastic from the ocean and coastlines.
- Size: 9 inch x 1.55 inch x 1.95 inch
- The handle is made of sustainable wood and the bristle of the brush is made of sisal (a Mexican plant agave with large fleshy leaves)
- Maintenance: To prevent cracks, do not leave the wood part soaking in water. After use, rinse the sisal bristle with clean water and hang dry naturally.
- Once worn out, the wooden head and sisal bristle can be 100% composted or buried in the backyard. All metal staples can be recycled in a metal recycling bin.

I am quite well pleased with my purchase! The handle is a bit slim to be ergonomic for aging hands like mine, but perfectly acceptable. The brush bristles are coarse enough to get through grime yet not harsh enough to scratch my non-stick pans, so win-win!
These Wooden Dish Brushes are awesome! All the power of plastic dish scrubbers without the plastic! Instead, the bristles are made from a Mexican agave plant, so you don't have to worry about them being toxic to the planet when they inevitably wear out and shed. I feel good knowing that I've curbed at least a bit of the hazardous plastic I'm shelling out into the environment.
My parents used one of these for many, many, years along with the Swedish dishcloths sold here. I recall both these items being just the best! So I've ordered some of each and I'm looking forward to getting them.
Hard to clean.
I was happy to find this wooden brush as an alternative to plastic. I haven't used it for dishes, but it works well with just water to scrub hard skinned fruits and vegetables as they come in from the store. I really love that it has a replaceable head!
