Dryer Balls are built to last—each one can handle over 1,000 loads, and last for years. You'll know it's time to replace them when the felt starts to loosen, and the balls become softer, larger, or begin to unravel.
Handcrafted in Nepal by fair-trade artisans, the dryer balls and unbleached cotton drawstring bag are 100% home compostable. Even the user manual is printed on recycled paper.
Consider giving your old dryer balls a second life before composting. Add a few drops of essential oil and use them as natural drawer or closet fresheners. Or, hand them over to your pets—they make great toys!
The more, the merrier? Yep! In general, the more dryer balls you use, the better they work for any load size. For small loads, use three wool laundry dryer balls; six for medium to large loads; and up to a dozen for extra-large loads. Using more helps any size load dry faster. Over-drying your clothes can cause static buildup, so get to know your new dryer timing to minimize static.
Care: If your dryer balls need cleaning, simply wipe the surface with a damp cloth. You can add a bit of soap or sanitizer if needed. For a deeper clean, hand wash them in lukewarm, soapy water.
