Have only used it for less than a week, but am impressed how our coffee tastes as a result of being filtered with this method. Conserved that the amount of water needed to wash between uses is comparable to the cost of composting my original paper filters but will give a good try.

I've been using cloth filters since the 1970s. Finally ran out of the stash I bought back then. Went to these. The others lasted for, well, damned near ever. These work okay at first but stop working within a couple of months because of oil build up, and even after boiling them as instructed, they aren't the same, so have to be replaced often. Still better than using paper, but not a great product by comparison to what I had.
Also, a note to FTO: While it may be true you sent the pkg. plastic free, you sent 4 tiny cloth filters that weigh nothing in a huge cardboard box. I was shocked at the size of the box these came in when they could have easily been put in a mailing envelope. I'd say "shame on you" but I hate that expression, but that is how I feel for the amount of cardboard you wasted for such a tiny item.

I purchased for my husband as I don’t drink coffee. He hesitated for about a week, tried them and is still raving about how much better his coffee tastes!! Woohoo!! Happy husband; happy ocean!! ;)

It's not as easy to empty as the reusable plastic & "copper" reusable coffee filter we have, but I do like how much easier it was to rinse out! Coffee still tasted great!

I'm very happy with these reusable coffee filters. They make a good cup of coffee, and aren't much more work to clean up than the average coffee press. They even work in a basket-type filter - being flexible, they can be fitted reasonably well into the basket. I'd definitely buy these again.
