Wooden Dish Brush or Replacement Head
This brush is fully biodegradable and made from vegan and sustainable materials. A dish brush with plastic bristles can shed hairs that can end up in the ocean, the bristles on this brush are plant-based and 100% biodegradable!
A natural dish brush with Tampico fiber bristles. Tampico is a very robust fiber from the yellow leaf of the agave cactus, which grows only in the highlands of northern Mexico. Tampico has great water-retaining properties, is resistant and hard-wearing, and keeps its shape without softening.
The head is replaceable so you can save the handle and reduce your waste when the brush wears out.
Every purchase of the Wooden Dish Brush funds the removal of 10 pieces of plastic from the ocean.
- Please allow the brush to dry completely in between uses.
- Total length with head: 24cm approx.
- Made in Europe, 100% FSC® certified.
- Try it out with our vegan dish soap bar!
- End of Life: Once worn out, the wooden head and sisal bristle can be 100% composted or buried in the backyard. All metal staples can be recycled in a metal recycling bin.
Item came quickly and works to save my hands!
I am collecting these to dedicate to several different cleaning uses: dish scrubber, soapstone bird bath (smooth surface), veggie brush, Schlemmertopf clay cooker (scrubs clean with baking soda & water)... I love that I can replace the run-down brush and not discard the entire thing.
This brush is perfect...for someone with small hands. If you decide to double the thickness of the handle and double the diameter of the scrub head, I'll buy that one with a couple of replacement heads for myself and pass this brush (and replacement heads) to a lucky neighbor. Until then, I'll use this one.
I have been looking for years for a well-designed kitchen brush. This one is not only great, but all natural, too! I’m going to give them for Christmas presents to my family and friends!
I’ve always been a sponge user but wanted to stop using it to wash dishes. The brush can scrape off cooked food, scrub all dishes and pans well. I bought a replacement brush head for when first wears out. I love my brush and it’s a great way to stop using sponges and any plastic.
