Three Bluebirds
Three Bluebirds mission is simple - Strive to make sustainability beautiful, playful, and simple – to make an earth-friendly lifestyle accessible for all.
"It is never too late for someone to make their footprint lighter on the planet."
The owners, Lasse and Lynda, met on a mountaintop in Japan, and the rest is history. Lynda was born in Seattle, and Lasse grew up in Finland, where he used simple, solid-colored Swedish dishcloths. After meeting, marrying, and moving to the U.S., the couple brought vibrant colors and incredible designs to these Finnish household essentials, making it their mission to introduce sustainable towels to the States.
Three Bluebirds is a family-owned business that partners with 1% For The Planet to restore 20 gallons of water to the Earth for every dishcloth sold. This doesn’t include the additional water and resources saved by avoiding disposable products or other contributions made through Water Stewardship projects, water innovation, and action across the U.S.
Lasse and Lynda work with a local, husband-and-wife-led team to print their Swedish Dishcloths using eco-friendly, water-based inks.
Certifications include Fairtrade International, Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), OEKO-TEX Confidence in Textiles, FCS, Responsible Forestry, and NFC.
