This wood dish brush is a perfect plastic-free alternative for your kitchen. Great for brushing, cleaning dishes, pots, and sinks.
The head is replaceable so you can save the handle and reduce your waste when the brush wears out.
Every purchase of the Wooden Dish Brush funds the removal of 10 pieces of plastic from the ocean.
- Size: 9 inch x 1.55 inch x 1.95 inch
- The handle is made of sustainable wood and the bristle of the brush is made of sisal (a Mexican plant agave with large fleshy leaves)
- Maintenance: To prevent cracks, do not leave the wood part soaking in water. After use, rinse the sisal bristle with clean water and hang dry naturally.
- Once worn out, the wooden head and sisal bristle can be 100% composted or buried in the backyard. All metal staples can be recycled in a metal recycling bin.
Try it out with our vegan dish soap bar!
When I received it, it had a very noticeable flaw in the bristles. I haven’t used it yet, so not sure that it will have any adverse effect on doing it’s cleaning, but it surprised me that it had a definite kind of split or crushed area. See photo, it leaves a gap between the bristles.
I like that the kitchen brush is made out of recyclable material rather than the plastic brush that I have used before. Also, when the brush wears out, I don't have to throw the whole thing away, I just replace the brush head! Genius!!
Works very well, but wanted to know how long I should keep using it.(Will it no longer be able to be properly cleaned?). Thank you.
I have had mine for a year, and the head is still in great shape. It does a thorough job, and the wooden handle allows for a good grip. I ordered and received a replacement head recently, but haven't needed to replace it yet. The bristles of the plastic ones I used to use became bent and ineffective in the same time frame, so this is a really great product.
Really? REALLY!?! You don't offer a two- or three-pack of replacement dish brush heads for those who REALLY want to conserve? I'm flabbergasted!
