Always a great product to use! I try not to run out. I love its very subtle and clean scent and how well it cleans my dishes!
Henceforward, I'll always have a soap block on my counter, sitting in a small soap dish. It looks a little more awkward than a sleek plastic bottle, but who cares? Not I. Anyone who doesn't like the look is free to go. (HAH!)
Seriously, the bar does a REALLY GOOD job. It lathers up rather well with a wee brush, and does a good working job on most dishes, utensils, mugs, glasses, non-terribly-gooey cookpots, etc.. The only place that it falls down at all is on REALLY greasy or oily things. I fear I'll have to stick with liquid there, but this great bar will cut that consumption by probably 90%. I'm a happy camper!
But - I gotta say - I'm confused by reviews that say the block, or broken bits of it, have to be "chased around the countertop," "leaving soapy residue." Put it in a soap dish, for heaven's sake! Problem solved.

I purchased this plus the bamboo soap holder and the dish brush. What should have been obvious, but I didn't realize, is that the soap either sits on the counter or on the soap dish and then as you use it you are pushing it around your counter and leaving soapy water everywhere. That was manageable, but after we used about 2/3 of the bar it broke into 4 pieces and now I'm chasing those bits around the counter trying to use them. I'm somewhat mystified by all the positive reviews.
I love this product and it lasts long time bf I buy another. It is so easy to use and cleans so well. I love Free the Ocean causes
