Do Bamboo Dish Brushes Get Moldy?
A commonly asked question: Do bamboo dish brushes get moldy?
You may notice darker spots developing on your bamboo dish brush over time. These spots are a natural result of bamboo being exposed to water and are not mold.
To help keep your brush fresh and prevent mold from developing, remove food particles after every use and allow the brush to dry on an elevated surface where air can circulate.
For a deeper clean, give your brush a bath every few weeks using equal parts warm water and vinegar. Soak only the bristle side of the brush for a few minutes, then allow it to dry completely, bristle side down.
With a little regular care, your bamboo dish brush can stay clean, fresh, and ready for everyday use.
