Garden in a Bag - Mint

I love these little bags. They sprout very easily and continue to grow!

So much fun!

A group of 4 friends is sharing my garden via text and photos. It brightens everyone's day. If possible I would deduct a quarter star for the absence of drainage chips in the strawberries and only one tomato seed. Everything - basil, oregano, marigolds, peppers, strawberries, even the tomato (!) - sprouted in less than a week. NOT the mint; still waiting after 5 weeks. Chives, planted later than the others, sprouted in 2 days and had buds in five! An east-facing window & porch blocked by a tree requires daily attention to balance between sunlight and temperature. It's worth it. For anyone wondering about the need to transplant to pots, tomato & pepper are already equal to a 5.5 inch pot.

A bit disappointed

I ordered the mini mums, catnip, and alpine strawberries.
I planted them all a month ago.
Followed the directions completely.
The catnip is growing pretty well, and of course the cat loves it.
The alpine strawberries are taking a long time and they're still very small like seedlings and they've been there a month.
The mini mums.. very disappointed. They are spindly, and only two have popped up. One seems to be a little more sturdy than the other, I'm keeping them in the partial Sun, watering them when I need to. Still not growing as I expected, or as pictured.
For the price we pay I'm very disappointed.

Not pleased. The directions indicated there was a bag of soul inside the brown bag. But there was just loose soil. There were remains of what possibly had been a bag a long time ago.

B-day presents

I just love the idea of growing herbs in bags. I got a total of 6 bags and gave them for Birthday gifts. Everyone loves them.
