Love these bags - just great. I recommend to family and friends

I'm glad I finally found compostable garbage bags. You would think that more people would make them since plastic is so harmful to the environment but apparently nobody else cares. These bags are great for me since I don't create a lot of garbage since I don't cook. I use them mostly for tea bags and coffee grounds. I found a small compostable pail from greatergoods.com and the bags fit inside the pail nicely.

I originally bought the larger size since my compost pail is bigger that the usual kitchen garbage container. They were actually too big, but since I had them, I thought I would give them a trial run. I can now say, about 5 bags in, that other than being too large, I'm happy with their performance so far. I will order a box of the smaller size now and feel relief that throwing the bags into my trash can (after emptying the compost contents into my garden) will be more environmentally friendly than the bags I was using. Any leftover large bags can be used for other garbage tasks, or maybe even storage tasks....
