I have bought several different wool cat toys from Free the Ocean to give to the kitties in my local shelter, where I am a volunteer. At the Shelter, as you can imagine, laundry is a strenuous affair: lots of hot water and chlorine bleach, and drying in an industrial dryer on "high." We have to do this to keep the Shelter occupants safe from communicable disease. You wouldn't need to go to this extreme at home...but I can assure you that these charming little wool toys do indeed stand up to a Shelter level of laundry stringency. If they are surviving in a shelter, you can rely on them surviving in your home, I think!

A ball to bat around!

These are charming, made, as I understand it, by a women's cooperative in Nepal, and 100% wool. I should say I bought this particular group of toys for my county animal shelter, where I am a cat volunteer. Although this is far beyond what the label says, I am pleased to say these toys are holding up very well to such rigorous cleaning! We HAVE to do it, as a part of our protocol to prevent the transmission of disease among the kitties. I am just so glad these toys are small but mighty! They come out of the wash and the dryer looking like new and are ready to give cheer to the next cat or kitten. And they are cute!

I ordered the lion and it's adorable. Very well made and colorful. It is bigger than I expected which isn't a bad thing, unless your cat likes a smaller toy. I would order again!

Simba went for both but liked the bee best, think it was the wings. Very good toys.
