Christmas Lights Peppers:

Delicate upright peppers in simultaneous shades of yellow, orange, red, and purple resemble lights on a Christmas tree. One of the most striking of the miniature peppers, ‘Sweet Pickle’ tastes as good as it looks. Thick-walled with a deliciously sweet flavor, the colorful fruit holds up beautifully on both the plant and the plate.

Scotch Pine Christmas Tree:

Your Christmas tree-to-be will grow to be a majestic Scotch Pine. This handsome and decorative tree has a formal beauty all its own. It is the preferred Christmas tree in many countries. When you plant the seeds of your Christmas Tree, you are planting a holiday memory that will grow and live for generations.

Scotch Pine Kids Christmas Tree:

Plant a holiday memory to be enjoyed for generations to come. Your Christmas tree-to-be will one day grow to be a majestic Scotch pine. This decorative and fragrant tree has a formal beauty all its own and is a preferred Christmas tree around the world.

French Marigold:

French Marigold {Tagetes patula} is a beautiful, easy-to-grow edible flower. The flavor of the petals have been compared to a sweet musky aroma with citrus peel notes. Marigolds are long bloomers. To encourage more flowering, pinch off old blooms.

Basil:

King of herbs, basil is a favorite among many cooks for its incredible flavor, which is at its peak when used fresh from the plant. The sweet-tasting miniature leaves are ready for use straight off the plant.

Chives:

Chives {Allium schoenoprasum} are a versatile culinary herb used in potatoes, quiches, soups, and pancakes. The flowers are also edible and have a mild garlic flavor.

Sunflower:

The subject of lore and paintings, it's an important agricultural crop today. Our mini-sunflower is a French dwarf variety that is easy to grow indoors on any sunny windowsill.

Cilantro:

Cilantro {Coriandrum sativum} is common in Asian, Indian, Mediterranean, Mexican, African, and even Scandinavian cuisine. Fresh leaves and dried seeds are most commonly used in cooking and have very different flavors.

Lavender:

The leaves are intensely aromatic right from the start and are said to have a relaxing effect. The flowers are edible and can be used raw in salads, added to stews, used to season cookies, ice cream, candied, or even brewed in tea.

Love:

Thank someone with this sentimental flower of sky-blue color with tiny yellow centers. It forms a mound of fuzzy foliage that grows to 6" in height. When in bloom, it bears clusters of flowers that uncurl as the flower buds open.

Catnip:

A member of the mint family, catnip attracts cats domestic and wild. If fresh, the leaves and stems need bruising to release their oils or you can dry and crush them as a special treat and help relieve boredom.

Happy Birthday:

Bring thoughtful birthday wishes in the language of flowers. They are hearty plants and easy to grow. Their blooms are edible and can add color to a salad or rice dish.

Thank You:

Zinnias are easy-to-grow beautiful plants with multi-petaled flowers that bloom in a variety of bold colors. A growing expression of thank you that will remind the recipient of your gratitude.

Thinking of You:

The name Pansy comes from the French word Pensée which means thought. A reminder in bloom that someone is thinking of you. Pansies are hearty plants and easy to grow. The large blooms will brighten any windowsill.

Mint:

A perennial herb bursting with fragrance and flavor enlivening endless dishes and drinks. To encourage low bushy growth, harvest leaves frequently and pinch off tops. Growing mint in a container is a perfect way to enjoy the freshly harvested herb and control its tendency to spread in the garden.

Sunflower

This was my first garden in a bag purchase, and I am so happy I made the purchase. It arrived in a very timely manner, and the instructions were so simple a child can do it. I love my sunflowers! Having fun and doing something good for the environment, it's a win-win!
